How to Order .

What is the Go DIRect Contract with ViON Corporation?
It is a contract between the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) and ViON Corporation which  allows "direct" purchases of storage hardware, software and related services.  Floyd Thomas, LLC, ViON's Mentor-Protege HUB company in Texas, works with ViON customers to develop formal quotes and process subsequent orders and invoices.  Floyd Thomas also provides financial and other reports related to customer accounts. 

Pricing has already been competed on the DIR contract making it unnecessary for the purchaser to obtain quotes from other sources or to spend time and other resources going through the RFP release/evaluation process.  There is no minimum or maximum dollar amount for purchases placed through the Go DIRect contract.

The contract provides discounts off the manufacturer's standard retail price (MSRP; discounts are provided in Appendix C of DIR-SDD-253) and may be used by State Agencies anywhere in the United States.  Local government entities (such as cities and counties) anywhere in the State of Texas may also purchase from DIR contracts.  For information on Out-of-State sales, please email your name and phone number to FloydThomasLLC@aol.com and we will contact you with additional information.

Benefits of Using Go DIRect.
	Having been awarded after DIR evaluated competitive vendor bids, no further bid competition is required of customers purchasing from the Go DIRect contract. The time and expense of preparing RFO and RFP documents and evaluating vendor responses are virtually eliminated.
	The contract allows customers to take advantage of the purchasing power of the State of Texas..
	The contract meets all requirements of State of Texas term contracts
Standard Discounts and Volume Discounts. Standard Discounts are stated in the Contract and are provided in Appendix C of the DIR contract.  For volume purchases, discounts may be negotiated beyond the standard discounts.
